Can we pay for this from our project budget?+
Usually, yes, if it is planned. Depending on how the task is described, video is budgeted as a purchase under 'other goods, works and services' (which also counts toward the 25% indirect-cost base) or as a subcontracted task set out in the proposal (table 3.1g in lump-sum grants). An unplanned subcontract can be approved later, but at the project's own risk. Ask us for a ready-to-paste budget justification; your coordinator or project officer has the final word.
We're writing a proposal. Can you help?+
Yes. We send a costed paragraph for your communication work package: scope, price and budget category, ready to paste in.
Our researchers are not comfortable on camera.+
Most aren't. Tomáš is patient and kind with people on camera: we agree one plain-language question per person, coach before every take and never ask anyone to read a script.
Will you get the science right?+
We read the paper or project summary first, and the researcher approves the wording of captions and post copy before anything is published.
Do you follow the EU visibility rules?+
Yes. Where the work is EU-funded, videos carry the EU emblem and the funding statement, placed the way the guidance asks.
Can you film at our consortium meeting abroad?+
Yes. We're based in Prague and film across Europe. Travel is included in the quote.
Do you post for us?+
No. You publish from your project, institute or personal profiles. We deliver everything ready to post, plus a reporting sheet.
What about consent and GDPR?+
The agreement is with your organisation, for the whole project. Each person agrees on camera before the interview, and we keep that recording as proof.
Who owns the videos?+
The licence is part of the project agreement: use on your channels and your partners' channels for as long as the project needs. Wider use is agreed separately.
Do you only work with EU projects?+
No. We also work with innovation and investment agencies, science parks and research events, anywhere in Europe.
